For £99 a month, with no setup fee, I build, host and look after your website: a homepage and up to three more pages, plus legal and 404 pages.

Small text and image changes are included under fair use, which means up to about an hour of my time a month. They are usually made within two working days. If you need more than that in a month, I will tell you before doing it and we can agree what happens next. Extra pages, bigger changes, and shops, bookings, member areas or databases are quoted separately.

I aim to have your site live within a week of your first payment. I build it from what I can find about your business and anything you send me.

You buy, own and renew your domain, and I connect it to your site. You are responsible for checking what the site says about your business, and for having the right to use anything you send me, such as photos and logos.

GoCardless take your first £99 when you sign up, then £99 a month by Direct Debit. The fee is reviewed each April. Any rise is 10% at most, with a month’s notice. If a payment fails, I may take the site offline until it is paid.

There is no minimum term and no exit fee. Give me one month’s notice by email. Your last payment covers that month, then I cancel the Direct Debit and take the site offline. Your domain and content stay yours. Ask before your notice ends and I will send you a copy of your website files, though another designer will usually rebuild the site rather than reuse them.

I can end the arrangement the same way, or straight away if you stop paying or the site is used for anything unlawful.

When your customers use your site’s enquiry form, I handle their details for you, only to run your site. I store each enquiry and pass it to you by email, using Cloudflare and Resend, and keep the details secure. I will tell you without delay if they are lost or exposed, and help you answer any request a customer makes about their details. When you leave, I delete them, or send them to you first if you ask.

I will work with reasonable care and skill. I cannot guarantee Google rankings, enquiries, sales, that the site is never down, or the services of other companies. My total liability to you is limited to what you have paid me in the three months before the problem, and I am not liable for lost profits, lost business or lost data, or for any loss caused by content you supply or by other companies’ services. Nothing here limits rights the law says cannot be excluded.

I will email you at least a month before any change that affects you. If you do not agree, you can leave before it applies.
